The service
JDI, a sole proprietorship based in Troy, Michigan, provides an automated SMS follow-up service to local service businesses such as roofing, HVAC, landscaping, and pressure washing companies. When a customer calls a participating business and the call goes unanswered, our system sends that caller one automated text message on the business's behalf, so the customer and the business can continue the conversation by text.
Messages are automated
Messages you receive from our system may be sent automatically, including replies in an ongoing conversation. A person from the business may also join the conversation at any point. Anything you send is shared with the business you called.
Receiving messages
You will only receive a message from our system after you call a participating business. Message frequency varies — typically one message after a missed call, plus any conversation that follows. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out permanently. Once you reply STOP, our system will not send texts to your number again.
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email owner@jdiautomations.com.
No warranty on delivery
SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers and networks outside our control. We can't guarantee that any message will be delivered, or delivered on time, and the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. If reaching a business is urgent, call them again or use another contact method rather than relying on a text conversation.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content to a business. We may stop relaying messages that abuse the service.
Privacy
How we handle phone numbers and message data is described in our Privacy Policy, including how to request deletion of your information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
