Who we are

JDI is a sole proprietorship based in Troy, Michigan, operating at jdiautomations.com. We build automated SMS follow-up systems for local service businesses — roofers, HVAC companies, landscapers, pressure washers, and similar trades. When you call one of these businesses and your call goes unanswered, our system sends you one automated text message on that business's behalf so the conversation doesn't end there.

This policy explains what information that service handles and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at owner@jdiautomations.com and we'll explain it plainly.

What we collect

When you call a business that uses our service, we collect:

• Your phone number — the number you called from.
• Call metadata — the time of your call, the business number you dialed, and whether the call was answered.
• Message content — the automated text we send and any replies you send back.

This website itself does not use cookies, analytics, or any visitor tracking. Browsing this site collects nothing about you.

Why we collect it

One reason: so the business you called can respond to you. Your phone number is how the text-back reaches you, the call metadata tells the business who called and when, and your replies are passed along so the business can continue the conversation. We don't use this information for anything else.

How consent works

You'll only ever receive a text from our system because you called the business first. Initiating that call is what invites the follow-up message. We never send texts to purchased lists, and we never text people who haven't contacted one of our client businesses.

We never sell your number

Mobile phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. The only parties who see your number are the business you called and the messaging infrastructure providers (such as our SMS carrier platform) required to deliver the text — and they may use it only to deliver it.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies. In the typical case you'll receive a single automated text after a missed call, plus any replies the business sends as part of your conversation. Message and data rates may apply — these are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us or the business you called.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message and you'll be permanently opted out — our system will not text that number again. Reply HELP for assistance, or email owner@jdiautomations.com.

How long we keep your data

We keep call records and message history for as long as the business you contacted remains a client of ours, so they have a record of your conversation. When a business stops using our service, the records tied to that business are deleted as part of offboarding. You can also request deletion at any time — see below.

Requesting deletion

You can ask us to delete your phone number and message history at any time. Email owner@jdiautomations.com from any address, include the phone number you'd like removed, and we'll delete the associated records and confirm when it's done.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't weaken how your number is protected without saying so here first.
